NICK BASTIS FEATURED ARTIST FOR CAM2010- UNVEILING


Unveiling Ceremony took place on Saturday, October 09, 2010 at the empty lot on 3100 W. Washington. The building is the work of American Architect Frank Gentry and a magnificent example of the most groundbreaking architecture to have come out of the 20th century.  For more information visit www.nickbastis.com . Thanks to Nick he has added East Garfield Park to the major international cultural circuits.

Program schedule included a String Ensemble: Teddy Rankin-Parker, David Keller, and guest. The Chicago Children's Choir- Off the Street Club, Robert Kilpatrick and his brother Tony Kilpatrick Classic Cars, and Students from Beidler Elementary that were the young artist working with Nick during his residency at Beidler. The children came to school during their vacation time to work on the project, and also came on Saturdays.
